Privacy notice
This notice explains how THE HUMBLE OAT CO LIMITED, trading as Otis (“Otis Oat Milk”), 123 Vogel Street, Dunedin Central, Dunedin 9016, handles personal information collected through the Otis Oat Milk Grocery Giveaway. It sits alongside the giveaway terms and conditions.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, and your phone number where you provide it.
- Receipt images and the purchase details you submit, including retailer, purchase date and the quantity of Otis Oat Milk purchased.
- Otis online store order references where an entry relates to an online purchase.
- Basic technical information needed to operate the entry site securely, such as submission timestamps.
Why we collect it
- To administer the Promotion and record your entries.
- To verify that purchases and receipts are genuine and eligible.
- To contact and verify winners and to fulfil prizes.
- To detect and prevent duplicate, altered or fraudulent entries.
Providing this information is voluntary, but without it we cannot process your entry or award you a prize.
Who we share it with
We may share personal information with service providers and prize partners where that is reasonably required to administer the Promotion or deliver a prize — for example our website and storage providers, and the suppliers of prize items. We do not sell your personal information.
The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram. You provide your information to Otis Oat Milk, not to those platforms.
Winner announcements
If you win, we may announce your first name, last initial and region. We will contact you first using the email address and/or phone number you supplied when entering.
Storage and retention
Entry details and receipt images are stored securely and access is limited to the Otis team members who review entries. We keep entry information for as long as needed to run the Promotion, award and fulfil all prizes and meet any legal or record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Marketing
Entering the Promotion does not automatically opt you into unrelated Otis Oat Milk marketing. Any marketing consent is collected separately and you can withdraw it at any time.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it for the Promotion. Contact marketing@goodandhumble.co.nz and we will respond as required by law.
